Fulham 2-2 Liverpool: Arne Slot's Side Frustrate Again with More Points Dropped
Nine games unbeaten but performances are slipping again...
Liverpool’s Premier League rhythm met firm resistance as Fulham earned a 2-2 draw at Craven Cottage, sealed by Harrison Reed’s 97th minute equaliser. The result extended Arne Slot’s Reds’ unbeaten run to nine games, while Fulham stretched their own unbeaten Premier League sequence to five matches.
The hosts struck first through former Liverpool winger Harry Wilson in the 17th minute, assisted by Raul Jiménez, carrying a 1-0 lead into half time. Liverpool’s first half lacked incision, but the visitors recalibrated after the break. Florian Wirtz ignited the response in the 57th minute, meeting Conor Bradley’s pass to level at 1-1 and shift the match’s balance.
Fulham absorbed Liverpool pressure until stoppage time erupted. Cody Gakpo, connecting with Jeremie Frimpong’s cross, nudged Liverpool ahead in the 90+4 minute to make it 2-1, only for Reed to seize the final act. Collecting the ball 30 yards out, Reed rifled home via Kevin’s assist, delivering a point Fulham’s endeavour merited, and preserving Liverpool’s Premier League momentum, if not the win.
