I doubt Alonso's back 3 will work in the English league. Chelsea sack ‘em quick.
Be careful what you wish for, I think Alonso and Slot both have till Christmas to prove something, neither will prove anything by then, they might both get sacked and we could have Alonso's back 3 not working too great at Anfield either from next January.
Plenty of mitigation. However and sadly we need to make the necessary changes. The manager needs the players 100% trust and hasn't got it for whatever reasons. many of our trusted players want out and that speaks volumes. The owners can see this and will undoubtedly act accordingly.
You columnists, pundits and the media in general are a part of the problem. You magnify discontent were clear unemotional reasoning is expected.
Who says heavy metal football is Liverpool's identity. It is Kloop"s identity and he took it when he left. Pinning for it will not bring it back and there are no guarantees that another coach can recreate it.
As an Arsenal fan who trusted the process, I see the value in giving coaches time to impose their identity. In fact, we copied the FSG model of patience. The scatter gun approach of intermittently changing coaches will ultimately backfire because all good things take time to build.
Let the man be. Or not! Let Arsenal build a dynasty of trophy winning seasons first. LOL
And the pain that Alonso has joined Chelsea

Something is rotten at our club, and it’s not just the coach, who should’ve been gone in November.

It is not in keeping with the sentiment of the actual fanbase in Merseyside.
